It is the window that has not been closed for more than 1,400 years, according to the condition of the Mother of the Believers, Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her. This was because when our master Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, wanted to expand the Prophet’s Mosque, after becoming tight for the worshipers, he asked his daughter Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her, to demolish her room located south of the honorable compartment, so she refused and insisted not to leave her room. Then she gave in to her father’s opinion of expanding, so he promised her another house, which is the house of Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, located in the location of the southern corridor now, so she stipulated that they open a small window for it that would remain open permanently, so this window was (the promise). It leads from Hafsa’s house to the honorable compartment to feel close to the beloved prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, and that window was not been closed since that time.

Pillar of the bed
It is located to the east of the Pillar of Repentance, it is attached to the window overlooking the Holy Rawdah. It was the place of the Prophet’s i'tikaaf (seclusion), for he had a bed of palm fronds, and he was placed at this pillar, as well as he had a pillow that was thrown for him, so he would lie on his bed at this pillar.

This mihrab (niche) was attributed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Because it was located near the place where the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to pray, as the mihrab was not built by a structure that would distinguish it from the rest of the Prophet’s Mosque, but rather the Prophet continued to stand in this place leading Muslims and made the wall of the Mosque as a barrier during the prayer until his death. This matter continued as it was until Omar bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, built the mihrab when he was ruler of Medina in the succession of Al-Walid bin Abdul Malik, may God have mercy on him, by order of him in 88-91 AH.
Al-Samhoudi, may God have mercy on him, said: “The mosque did not have a niche during his reign, nor during the era of the caliphs after the Prophet may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, until Omar bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, built the mihrab and took precautions in its affairs during Al-Walid era.
Al-Bujairami Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, said: “In the Prophet’s time, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the caliphs after him - until the end of the first hundred years - there was no mihrab, but the mihrabs were created in the first of the second hundred of the Hijra, and the mihrab that now exists is from the building of al-Ashraf Qaitbay, where he built it in the year: 888 AH), and this is indicated by the inscription on the back of the mihrab in the Mamluki thuluth script.
During the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, it was completely renovated, and that was in (1404 AH) as stipulated in the last three lines of this painting written in Thuluth script “And after disintegration and cracks occurred in the mosaics and marble, His Majesty King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, may God bless him, ordered to refurb the mihran, and that was in the year four hundred and four”.

Khokhat Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him
The khokha is a small door like a big window between two houses, on which a door is erected. Khokhat Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, is the door between his house and the Prophet’s Mosque in the west of the mosque, after the last pillar of the mosque’s boundary.
The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered that it remain open to the mosque in his sermon shortly before his death in the year 11 AH, where Abu Saeed al-Khudri narrated, saying, may God be pleased with him: that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sat on the pulpit and said: “A slave has been given the choice, either
God gave him whatever he wishes of the blessings of this world, or what God has, so he chose what God has, then Abu Bakr cried and said: We loved you with our fathers and mothers, so we surprised by him, and people said: Look at this sheikh, The Messenger of God, Peace and Blessing be Upon him, was the choice, and Abu Bakr was the most aware of it among us, and the Messenger of God, Peace and Blessing be Upon him, said:
The most person that I am grateful to him for his accompany and money is Abu Bakr, and if I were to choose a dear companion form my nation, I would have taken Abu Bakr, except the companionship of Islam. No Khokha (a small door like a big window between two houses) will remain in the mosque except Abi Bakr’s Khokhah”.

Next to his grave is the grave of Sayyidna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq which is a little bit behind, and next to it is the grave of Sayyidna Umar Bin al-Khattab which is also a little bit behind. The holy chamber is surrounded by a five-sided wall built on four pillars, on these pillars was built a square dome from the bottom octagonal from the top, armed with plates of lead, known as Al-Fayhaa dome, then painted green, and became known as the Green Dome.

The honorable pulpit, the platform of the Messenger of God, Peace and Blessing be Upon him, and grant him peace:
The first pulpit set up for the Messenger in the Prophet’s Mosque was from the mud, and he was sitting on it for those who do not know him to recognize him. And he was preaching over it for Friday prayers and some other occasions, and then its architecture continued over the centuries and times. It is currently made of pure alabaster, decorated with Islamic motifs, engraved with very creative inscriptions, and painted with gold water.
The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “What is between my house and my pulpit is a garden of paradise and my pulpit on my basin.” The hadith was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him.

The sacred chamber, (the honorable confrontation): It is the house where our master the Messenger of Allah lived in his life, and his house and his lodgment place in his death, his holy face (pbuh) is heading to Kaaba in Mecca and his honorable head is in the direction of the Holy Rawda.

The honorable pulpit, the platform of the Messenger of God, Peace and Blessing be Upon him:

It is the fourth pillar from the pulpit, the second from the grave, and the third from the qiblah, and it is also known as the pillar of Abu Lubaba, which is Rafaa bin Abdul Mundhir, may Allah be pleased with him, one of the leading members of the Banu Aws. When Banu Qurayza consulted him - and he was their ally – if they would descend on the judgment of the Messenger of God, and grant him peace, he said: Yes, and he pointed with his hand to his throat -meaning slaughtering-. Abu Lubaba said: I swear by God, as soon as I moved my feet I knew that I had betrayed God and His Messenger.
And there was revealed in him the saying of the truth, may He be glorified and exalted: (O those who believe, do not betray God and the Messenger, and betray your trusts while you know) Surat Al-Anfal verse no. (27). He did not return to the Prophet, Peace and Blessing be Upon him, but went to the mosque, and tied himself to a stump in the position of the repentance pillar –now-, and swore that he will not release himself and no one will release him until the Messenger of God, untie him, or his repentance comes from the God. When the Messenger of God, Peace and Blessing be Upon him, was reported his news, he said: As for if he came to me, I would have prayed God to forgive him. As for what he did, I would not be the one who releases him from his place, until God repents him, God sent down his repentance to the Messenger of God, in the house of Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, and she said: What do you laugh? He said: Abu Lubaba has been repented. She said: O Messenger of God, should I give him good tidings? He said yes if you like. So she stood at the door of her room, then she said: O Abu Lubaba, preach good news for God has repented to you, then the muslims wanted to release him, he said: No, by God, until the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, be the one who releases me with his hand, and when Messenger of God passed him while he was going to Fajr prayer, he released him and that is why it was called (The Pillar of Repentance).

No Khokha (a small door like a big window between two houses) will remain in the mosque except Abi Bakr’s Khokhah”.
